The Select Committee on Environment and Sustainability advises Council on matters relevant to the physical environment and sustainability of the Town of Qualicum Beach.
Matters for review and/or study will be referred to the Committee by Council on a case-by-case basis, and may include:
Environmental policies, environmental protection measures and plans, studies, and initiatives related to the environment.
Environmental concerns brought to Council by groups and/or citizens.
The Committee is appointed by Council and composed of:
One member of Council.
One youth member at large.
Five members of the public as members at large.
