The Town has long been committed to improving active transportation networks, particularly those linking the uptown area with the waterfront. The Memorial / Highway 19A route is a vital connection and gateway to our prized beach which attracts countless visitors year-round.

The Separated Walkway and Viewing Platform project will help the waterfront reach its full potential, creating a destination for both tourists and locals, and supporting safe forms of active recreation.
